Privacy on Big Walk Field Notes
This page describes the features and third-party scripts present on this website. Last updated October 8, 2026.
What the site uses
- Group checklist and guide-check preferences are stored in your browser.
- There is no account or newsletter form on this site.
- Third-party analytics and advertising scripts are included.
Local browser storage
The setup checklist and saved guide checks use localStorage. Those features do not upload their contents. You can remove saved preferences by clearing this site’s storage in your browser; private browsing or storage restrictions may stop them persisting.
Analytics and advertising
The homepage includes Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Vercel Analytics and third-party advertising-network scripts. Guide pages include Vercel Analytics. These providers may process technical information such as network identifiers, browser details, page visits and interactions, and may use browser storage according to their own services.
Google advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the Analytics configuration, but that setting does not disable separate advertising scripts. Use browser privacy controls to manage third-party storage or requests. We do not state a provider retention period that we have not verified.
External resources
Official stores, community pages and the trailer open on their respective services. The trailer is a link rather than an automatically loaded YouTube embed. Those services apply their own privacy practices.
