Before the walk / Platforms
Which platforms is Big Walk on?
Big Walk is available for Windows and Mac, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The official FAQ says no other platforms are currently planned.
What the official guidance confirms
- Xbox, PS4 and the original Nintendo Switch are not on the supported-platform list.
- Switch 2 and the original Switch are different purchase targets.
Choose the right setup guide
Use the guide for the device you will actually play on. For Mac, also check which storefront supplied the game. Before a group purchase, ask each person to name their exact platform rather than just saying “console” or “Switch”.
Is Big Walk on Xbox or PS4?
Neither is an announced supported version in the official availability answer checked on October 8, 2026. Treat an Xbox or PS4 release-date claim as unconfirmed unless the developer or an official store publishes it.
If your group has a mix of supported and unsupported devices, resolve that before comparing prices. A cheaper listing is not useful if the intended player cannot run that version.

Does crossplay mean cross-buy?
These are different questions. Crossplay is about joining a session from different supported systems; a purchase entitlement is controlled by the store. Do not assume that buying on one storefront gives you another edition for free.
Our buying checklist starts with the platform and region. Our crossplay guide covers how to meet after everybody has a playable copy.
