Steam setup for a Big Walk group
Steam friend sessions should appear after the host is in the world. A join code remains the fallback for mixed-platform groups or missing friend sessions.
What the official guidance confirms
- Big Walk is listed for Windows and macOS on Steam with online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer.
- Have the host load first; Steam friends can then look for the active host game.
- If the host does not appear, use a fresh join code and compare the first two version numbers.
- Steam on macOS may also need microphone permission in macOS System Settings.
