Mac setup depends on where the game came from
Big Walk is available for Mac through Steam and the Mac App Store. The App Store version does not expose a Game Center friends list, so those players need a join code.
What the official guidance confirms
- Steam friends may see an active host session; Mac App Store players should use a join code.
- Crossplay still requires the first two version numbers to match.
- For voice, enable Big Walk under macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
- The Steam listing currently states macOS 15 and Apple Silicon as minimum requirements.
