PlayStation 5 setup for a Big Walk group
PS5 players can join platform friends or use a join code, including in cross-platform sessions.
What the official guidance confirms
- The host loads first, then friends look for the active game or enter the code.
- Cross-platform groups need matching first-two version numbers.
- If the PS5 mic is not working, the official FAQ says to open the PS button Sound panel and turn Mute Game Voice Chat off.
- The host automatically owns the save and must return for the same journey.
